Bill Henry, A.T.C., C.S.C.S
Director of Operations / Exercise Specialist
Bill is a certified member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the National Athletic Trainers' Association. He spent seventeen years working in professional baseball. Starting with the minor league New York Yankees, then a summer with the minor league Cleveland Indians before eventually landing with the minor league Pittsburgh Pirates. After ten seasons in the Pirates minor league system working as an athletic trainer and a strength and conditioning coach developing the organization's sports medicine and strength and conditioning program, Bill made the move to the major league club in Pittsburgh as the assistant athletic trainer. Following four seasons there and anxious to assume additional responsibilities, the next move was out to San Diego to assume the role of Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Padres from the 2001 through the 2003 seasons.
Mike Baltren, C.S.C.S.
Exercise Specialist
Mike is originally from Massachusetts, where he played both high school and collegiate hockey. He earned his bachelors degree in Marketing from University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth where he also developed a passion for training
and conditioning of athletes. While participating in conditioning programs, he also worked as an assistant at Northeast Speed Camp in Massachusetts. After moving to Southern California in 2003, Mike became a personal trainer and soon thereafter a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, so he could focus on working with athletes of various sports. In addition to athletes of all sports, Mike enjoys working with all individuals interested in improving their performance and or quality of life.
Tanya Ledesma, B.S.
Exercise Specialist / Softball Instructor
Tanya grew up in Carlsbad, CA where she graduated from Carlsbad High School. After high school she attended the University of Southern Mississippi. In her freshman year at Southern Miss, the Eagles softball team won their Southern Regional. There, she participated in the 1999 Womens' College World Series as the Eagles finished as the 8th ranked Division One softball team
in the nation. Tanya played for Palomar Junior College her sophmore year where the Comets won their Pacific Coast Conference and finished 1st as the California State Junior College Softball Champions. Tanya transferred to Cal State Northridge for her junior year where her team participated in the Big West Regionals. She graduated Cal State Northridge in 2002 with her B.A. in Psychology and then spent the next 3 years coaching at Los Angeles Valley Junior College. Tanya specializes in softball pitching, hitting and strength and conditioning instruction.
Tanya has relocated back to the San Diego area, where she is pursuing her Masters in Educational Psychology. Tanya enjoys motivating athletes to improve both physically and mentally.
